A Review of the Research Progress on the Evolution Laws of Hydrological and Geomorphic Features in River Basins at Home and Abroad
Abstract
Watershed hydrology and geomorphology evolution represents the core research content of fluvialgeomorphology and hydrological cycle discipline systems, and the research content reveals the interactivecoupling mechanism between hydrological process fluctuation and geomorphic pattern change in watershedsystems . Systematic research on watershed hydrology and geomorphology evolution laws provides coretheoretical support for watershed ecological regulation, water resource allocation and geomorphic environmentmaintenance .The multi-scale coupling quantitative simulation system of hydrological and geomorphic evolutionneeds further improvement .This paper systematically sorts out the basic connotation and core characteristics ofwatershed hydrology and geomorphology co-evolution,summarizes domestic and foreign research progress onevolution mechanism, driving factors and technical research methods, analyzes the interactive feedbackrelationship between hydrological processes and geomorphic patterns, and explores standardized optimizationpaths for subsequent theoretical research and technical application . This paper aims to clarify the internaloperation rules of watershed hydrology -geomorphology coupled systems, sort out mature research systems inrelated fields, and provide systematic theoretical and technical references for in-depth research and practicalapplication of watershed evolution laws .
