Predictors of positive inotropic drug use in patients undergoing concomitant coronary artery bypass graft without cardiopulmonary bypass

Objective:To observe and analyze the factors related to the use of positive inotropicdrugs in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)surgery.Method:A total of 630 patients (351 malesand 279 females)who underwent off pump CABG at the Heart Center of Daxing District People'sHospital in Beijing from January 2012 to December 2013 were selected as the study subjects .According to whether positive inotropic drugs were used during surgery,they were divided into anapplied group (n=330)and a non applied group (n=300).Collect clinical data by reviewing originalmedical records .The application of positive inotropic drugs is defined as the use of dopamine atdoses exceeding 5 μg/(kg ·min),any dose of adrenaline or norepinephrine,milrinone .Result:Threeindependent factors related to the application of positive inotropic drugs were identified:①Cardiacindex (CI)≤2 5 L /(min ·m2 );②Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)≤35%;③Leftventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP)≥25 mmHg .Conclusion:CI ≤2 .5 L/(min ·m2),LVEF ≤35%,and LVEDP ≥25 mmHg are independent related factors that increase the risk of using positiveinotropic drugs in non extracorporeal circulation CABG.
