Since 2013, he has served as department chair, leading his team in developing municipally recognized high-quality courses, including Human Anatomy and Histology and Embryology. He has also taken a leading role in compiling 10 nationally planned textbooks and has published more than 160 research papers.

She currently serves as Executive Committee Member of the International Diabetes Federation Western Pacific Region; Vice Chair of the Diabetes Society of the Chinese Medical Association; Vice Chair of the Diabetes and Microcirculation Committee of the Chinese Society of Microcirculation; and Chair of the Tianjin Diabetes Society.
