Journal Mission
Journal of Intelligent Technologies in Digital Economy (JITDE) adheres to the core philosophy of “Digital Intelligence Empowering High-Quality Economic Development.” The journal is committed to publishing cutting‑edge research that advances the deep integration of intelligent technologies, data elements, and the real economy, supporting interdisciplinary innovation and the construction of a modern economic system.
Aims and Scope
JITDE welcomes high‑quality interdisciplinary submissions focused on the digital economy and intelligent technologies, including but not limited to the following topics:
- Intelligent Algorithms and Economic Forecasting: Novel algorithm design, market prediction, risk modeling, and macroeconomic analysis driven by artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Data Element Value and Allocation: Data valuation, pricing mechanisms, trading systems, and the economic impact of data as a core production factor.
- Digital Platforms and Business Optimization: Platform governance, architecture design, business process reengineering, and intelligent transformation of industrial operations.
- Big Data Analytics and Decision Support: Large‑scale data mining, knowledge extraction, and intelligent decision systems for economic and social management.
- Intelligent Financial Technology and Systems: AI‑driven fintech applications, algorithmic trading, risk control, robo‑advisory, and financial system innovation.
- Industrial Digital Transformation Evaluation: Effect measurement, performance assessment, and impact analysis of digitalization in various industries.

2. Article Type and Writing Requirements
To support the dissemination of diverse research outputs, JITDE accepts multiple manuscript types. Authors are encouraged to select the most appropriate category based on the nature and contribution of their work.
Research Article
Presents complete, original research with reliable data, rigorous methodology, and substantial novelty capable of advancing disciplinary knowledge. Findings must be unpublished and conclusions fully supported by evidence.

Short Communication

Industry Updates

Letter to Editor
Provides constructive comments, questions, or supplements on recently published papers, or offers concise insights on academic hotspots and debates. Content must be academically rigorous, polite, and objective.

Author Checklist
Cover Letter:
- Manuscript title, article type, and submission type (new or revised).
- 3–5 concise sentences summarizing key findings (highlights).
- Confirmation that all authors approve submission.
- Statement that the manuscript is unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Declaration of permission for all copyrighted materials used.
- Confirmation that the manuscript complies with the word count limit.
- Conflict of interest statement.
- Main Manuscript: Full text, figures, tables, references, and all required statements including ethics approval, data availability, funding, conflict of interest, and AI disclosure.
- Supplementary Materials (if applicable): Additional data, code, figures, or methods not essential to the main text; all materials are peer reviewed.
- Author Profile: Name, affiliation, email, and brief biography (100–150 words) including research interests and representative achievements.
- At least one author must provide a valid ORCID.
Text and Image Abstract
A graphical abstract visually summarizes the core content of the manuscript and must be consistent with the main text. It must not include portraits, national symbols, trademarks, or copyrighted images without permission.
Keep it concise, avoid repetition, and exclude titles or captions. Size should be within one‑third of A4 paper.
Requirements:
- Clarity: High resolution, no blurring or distortion
- Format: .jpg or .tif, 300 dpi
- File: Upload separately, not embedded in Word
- Copyright: Third‑party content requires written permission
Manuscript Format and Structure (First Submission)
Insert figures and tables close to their first mention. Include continuous line numbers and page numbers. The manuscript must follow this order:
- Title: Title, authors, affiliations, addresses, corresponding author email
- Abstract: 200–300 words, structured; no references
- Keywords: Up to 8
- Introduction: Background, motivation, gaps, objectives
- Methods: Reproducible procedures, statistics, ethics approval
- Results: Objective presentation, clear figures and tables
- Discussion: Interpretation, comparison, limitations, implications
- Conclusion: Concise summary of core contributions
- Supplementary Sections: Author contributions, data availability, funding, COI, AI disclosure, acknowledgments, references
4. Authorship and Contribution Statement
Authorship
All authors must meet all four criteria:
- Substantial contributions to conception, design, data collection, analysis, or interpretation
- Drafting or critically revising intellectual content
- Final approval of the published version
- Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work
Individuals providing only funding, technical support, or administrative services are not eligible for authorship.
Corresponding Author Responsibilities
The corresponding author is the primary contact throughout review and publication. Responsibilities include managing communication, ensuring document completeness, verifying author approval, responding to post‑publication inquiries, and overseeing academic integrity. The corresponding author bears ultimate responsibility for ethical and scholarly standards.
Author Contribution
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the CRediT taxonomy to clearly specify individual contributions. All authors must satisfy the authorship criteria listed above.
5. Data Availability Statement
To ensure transparency and reproducibility, authors must include a clear data availability statement. Select one of the following templates:

The datasets generated and/or analyzed during this study are available in [repository name], with the identifier: [DOI/accession number].
2. Data available on request
De‑identified data may be obtained from the corresponding author following ethical approval and a data use agreement.
3. Code availability

6. Research Ethics
Human Research Ethics
Studies involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant institutional ethics requirements.

- Informed Consent: Written consent from participants
- Privacy Protection: Full anonymization of personal data
Animal Research Ethics
All animal experiments must adhere to the 3Rs principles (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) and the ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines. Approval from the Animal Ethics Committee (IACUC) is mandatory, with the committee name, approval number, and approval date specified in the manuscript.
7. Funding Statement
Include a dedicated funding section before references. List full sponsor names and grant numbers. Example:

8. Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including employment, consultancies, stock ownership, funding, patents, or other relationships that may affect impartiality. If no conflict exists, state that explicitly.
9. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
JITDE follows COPE guidelines for AI tools. To maintain academic integrity:
For Authors
AI use for language polishing does not require disclosure. If AI contributes to data analysis, experimental design, or content generation, this must be declared. Authors remain fully responsible for accuracy, originality, and validity. Falsification or alteration of data is prohibited.
For Editors and Reviewers
Unapproved AI tools must not be used to process manuscripts or reviews. Misuse may result in disqualification from future peer review.
10. Acknowledgements
Acknowledge funding sources and individuals who contributed to the work but do not qualify for authorship.
11. Reference Format
References must be public, recent, and relevant. Unpublished materials are not allowed. Citations are numbered [1][2]. Examples:

13. Academic Misconduct and Its Handling
JITDE maintains strict publishing ethics. Allegations of misconduct including plagiarism, data falsification, and duplicate publication will be investigated following COPE guidelines.
- Similarity Check: Overall similarity < 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this must be revised.
- Investigation: The journal will contact authors, institutions, and experts as needed to ensure fairness and objectivity.
14. Preprint Policy
JITDE allows preprint deposition on platforms such as arXiv and SSRN before submission, during review, or after acceptance. Preprints must clearly note submission to JITDE and shall not replace the final published version.
