Recruiting Early Career Editorial Board Members

To further promote the international development of Journal of High Performance Alloys and Processing (JHPAP) and build a more dynamic academic exchange platform, JHPAP has officially launched a recruitment program for Early Career Editorial Board, inviting young scholars who are actively striving and have academic enthusiasm in related fields to join us. 

 

Application Eligibility
1. Hold a PhD degree and conduct research in materials science and engineering, metallurgical engineering or related interdisciplinary fields.
2. Demonstrate a strong track record of research excellence, with at least five publications as first or corresponding author in internationally recognized journals within the past three years.
3. Have experience participating in national research projects.
4. Commitment to the journal's mission and willingness to contribute to its growth with dedication and enthusiasm.

 

Responsibilities of Early Career Editorial Board
1. Peer Review: Conduct timely, rigorous, and constructive peer reviews at least three manuscripts per year in the professional field each year. 
2. Journal Content Construction: Recommend cutting-edge research topics and potential authors, and provide input on any new initiatives of journal development. 
3. Journal Promotion: Promote this JHPAP in academic and professional social circles, with a focus on young researchers. 
4. Journal Content Development and Academic Activities: Contribute to the identification, selection, and promotion of high-quality thematic content, and actively participate in academic conferences, seminars, and other events organized or co-organized by the journal.

 

The Rights of Early Career Editorial Board
1. Selected Early Career Editorial Board Members will be appointed for a one-year term (renewable).
2. Participate in editorial board meetings and contribute insights, recommendations, and strategic suggestions to support the journal's advancement.
3. Outstanding Early Career Editorial Board members can receive excellent honorary certificates; Priority will be given to being appointed as a journal Editorial Board member during adjustments or changes in the Editorial Board.
4. Receive opportunities for the promotion of research achievements and team accomplishments through the journal's communication platforms and domestic and international media channels, enhancing academic visibility and influence.
5. Gain opportunities to participate in or organize annual meetings, academic forums, webinars, and other scholarly activities hosted by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.

 

About the journal
JHPAP is an international journal launched in 2026 and published quarterly by ICJN Press. Focusing on the dual pillars of advanced alloys and advanced processing technologies, the journal is dedicated to the design, fabrication, processing, modification, and engineering applications of high-performance materials, including ferrous, non-ferrous, and high-entropy alloys. It integrates multiple disciplines, such as materials science and engineering, metallurgical engineering, and mechanical processing, and serves strategic sectors including aerospace, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, rail transportation, ocean engineering, and nuclear power. Aims to bridge the gap between fundamental research and engineering applications, address key challenges in technology translation, and support the development of critical materials.
